YouTube links are now supported for captions
You can now generate captions using a
YouTube link
no local upload required.
What changed
Previously, captions could only be generated from videos uploaded from your device. Now you can paste a YouTube URL and caption the video directly.

Once uploaded, your fonts become available anywhere you choose fonts for captions or custom presets.

How to use it
- Head to Brand Templatesor open any project in theEditor.
- When choosing a font, select Upload fontand add your brand files.
- Save them into a Brand Template or custom caption preset.
- Use your new fonts in any clip going forward.

Captions can now be limited by a
maximum number of words
.Set a word cap, and Reap will keep each line tight and easy to read, especially on fast-moving short-form content.

Each Brand Template can now include:
- Intro– A branded opener to start every clip consistently.
- Outro– An end screen or CTA to drive clicks, sign-ups, or bookings.
- Logo– Upload your logo once, lock its position, and reuse it across all clips.
- Caption Style– Font, color, size, animation, and position for your captions.
- Preferences– Default language, translation settings, orientation (vertical, square, landscape), and resolution.
