This release brings animated transitions between clips, a built-in sound-effects library, and a studio-wide calendar timezone all on desktop and mobile, plus a big round of editor stability fixes.
Transitions Between Clips
You can now add a transition at the cut between two clips.

What's new
  • A new Transition panel, on desktop and mobile, with seven transition styles, fade, slide, wipe, iris, clock wipe, zoom, and blur to apply at the junction between clips.
  • Any transition can carry a sound accent from the effects library, played right at the cut.
  • Prefer a clean cut? You can keep a plain hard cut and still give it a sound.
Sound Effects
Add sound effects to your clips from a built-in library.

What's new
  • A new Effects panel, on desktop and mobile, with a library of 32 sound effects.
  • Adding an effect drops it onto your clip as a sound you can position and adjust.
  • On mobile, the panel closes after you add an effect so you can see it land on the timeline.
Studio Calendar Timezone
Your publishing calendar now follows a single timezone chosen for the whole studio, so everyone on the team sees the same times.

What's new
  • Admins set the studio's display timezone from the calendar header or Manage Studio settings.
  • The calendar, event times, and bulk scheduling all read and write in that timezone.
  • Team members see the current timezone as a read-only chip, keeping everyone aligned.
Top-Up Credits
You now get a confirmation email after buying add-on media credits, showing how many credits you purchased, the amount paid, and your new top-up balance.
Editor Fixes
  • Fixed a crash when opening a clip whose saved layout contained a zero-length overlay, and stopped those sub-frame slivers from being saved in the first place.
  • Splitting a clip now divides its caption transcript along with the captions, fixing cases where a split piece could end up showing the wrong captions.
  • Resizing captions no longer crashes the editor when the transcript is still loading or temporarily unavailable.
  • Fixed caption rendering crashing on certain fonts that briefly looked "not loaded," and custom fonts now recover on their own when their link expires mid-session instead of taking down the preview.
  • Smoother playback: fixed stalls caused by double seeks, hover activity, and resizing split layouts, and reduced buffering when playback crosses from one overlay to the next.
  • Prevented a corrupt-clip situation where saving while the project was still loading could strip key settings (frame rate, resolution, watermark, caption language); the editor now waits and asks you to retry instead.
  • Clips already affected by that issue now open again on the project page and in the editor, instead of failing to load.
  • Fixed crashes from an unresolved video source, an empty transcript in the segment view, and closing the delete-video dialog while the delete was still in progress.
  • Replaced the gradient text color pickers with the standard color picker for consistent styling.
